"Bijan Ilyaie"
coming soon
Born in Iran, Bijan began his literary experience in his early 20's. But his first serious attempt was at the age of 23 when he translated the book Sufi's Prism, right at the climax of his bizarre sorcery experience which is extensively explained in his last book Journey back from Ixtlan. He was never able to publish the Sufi's Prism because of the censorship in the Islamic Republic of Iran. So far He has translated 27 books on positive thinking, faith, religion, politics, and poetry along with many university courses for Iranian Institutes in the last 23 years.
In his late 20's he returned to his first love, music, and wrote many songs with themes of hope, faith, love, and challenges of life. He released his fourth album and his first Canadian made CD in March 2009.
He has performed in several countries around the world for Iranian communities and is planning to continue doing that for years to come.
Since 2005 he has been appearing on more than 50 TV shows as a guest and a motivational speaker which have been broad-casted over Iran, Middle East, North America, and Europe.
He wrote his first book, Dew of Faith; a collection of thoughts in 1999. It was published in the year 2001 by one of the most respected and well known publishing companies in Iran, Nasle Noe Andish and immediately became a best seller. It has been reprinted several times since then. His second book A Response to Karl Gustav Jung's Answer to Job never got the chance to be evaluated for publishing in Iran due to his immigration to Canada. He also has some experience in TV shows and broadcasting as writer, director and producer since 2006.
He completed his memoir, Journey back from Ixtlan in March 2011 which is a true story of a lost generation in search for the truth and a purpose in life in the Islamic Republic of Iran which will be released soon. He currently works on a new TV show, and at the same time is recording his next album which is also to be released by the Spring 2012.
